Sanage Onsen is a 100% natural radon hot spring.

The natural radon hot spring, Sanage Onsen’s pride and joy, gushes vigorously from a depth of 1,200 meters and is a very rare type of hot spring, accounting for only 7% of all hot springs in Japan. It became the first hot spring in Aichi Prefecture to be approved for drinking.
